Reviews

In Care and Incredible is a vital representation of resilience and talent from individuals who chose to not let their journey from care define their future goals or dreams, it's an honour to be alongside so many amazing people!
Dr. Fagan, author of five novels, a memoir Ootlin and eight poetry collections.
What a brilliant book. <ahref="https://www.theguardian.com/society/2022/jul/24/portrait-care-leavers-lemn-sissay-foundling-museum"></a> It shows who we are in real life. I am honoured to be included within this illustrious list. What they all have in common is ambition and determination. Ambition to be the best and determination to keep going. We are a tribe across the world. We are not alone. We have done the best we can with what we have got. We have squeezed everything out of life as if our lives depended on it. What Dee and Rosie have done is find the closest comparison in real life to the fictional characters which find their ways into all of our lives: Harry Potter was a foster child. Superman was adopted. Matilda was adopted. Oliver Twist was a street child, in a children's home and then he was adopted. James Bond was a foster child and so was spider man. Spiderman was fostered by his aunty. They all had their ways. Harry Potter was quite stubborn. Matilda was quite angry. Oliver Twist was confused a lot of the time. But they were determined and full of ambition, even if the ambition was to be happy. I am so happy that Dee and Rosemary have made this book for you and gathered all this information. It makes you see the world in a different way. It helps us see the incredible people around us.
